Job summary

HCF is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the community's activity program. You will help organize and implement planned activities, interview residents and families to determine interests, and participate in in-service training.

You will follow policies, supervise volunteers, and communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors. The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, reliability, and a service-minded attitude to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must follow policy and procedures.
• Meet job-related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual.
• Able to assist with planning and completing programs.
• Interview residents and families to determine interests and background.
• Attend in-service education.
• Assist with supervising and coordinating volunteers.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
