Job summary

Arcadia LTC is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to support planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social programs for residents. You will help create engaging daily activities aligned with each resident’s care plan and assessments.

In this part-time role, you will assist with preparing spaces, supervising activities, and promoting residents’ physical, social, and emotional well-being. Benefits include low-cost dental/vision, daily pay, paid vacations, and various time-off

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm; ability to handle residents at varying maturity levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting daily activity programs for residents.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Oversee residents’ engagement in activities to promote physical, social, and mental well-being.
