Job summary

Infinity Healthcare Consulting is seeking an Activity Aide to support the Activity Director in implementing a planned program for residents. The role includes assisting with transportation, record-keeping, and light clerical tasks, while remaining energetic and personable to engage residents.

CNA preferred but not required. Must have a high school diploma, valid driver's license with F-Endorsement, and ability to drive the facility van.

Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma.
Must possess a valid driver's license with F-Endorsement.
Must be able to drive the facility van.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Must present a positive image of the facility.
Must meet health assessment requirements, including Mantoux skin tests.

Responsibilities

Aides assist the recreational activities leader or activities director, helping patients or participants use equipment and supplies.
Activities may include arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports, music or drama.
Assists with transporting Residents to appointments
Prepares equipment and ensures the safety of patients or participants in the activity.
Assist in leading the participants in group activities, such as an exercise class or art project.
Proper record keeping of equipment and its use.
Assist in planning programs for residents, which can help to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
