Job summary

Atrium Centers Westgate Nursing, Rehabilitation & Assisted Living Community is seeking an Activities Assistant to bring joy and purpose to residents by supporting engaging programs that meet social, emotional, and recreational needs. You will assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and help execute the daily/monthly calendar.

Responsibilities

Assist with developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating activity programs
Support the execution of the daily and monthly activity calendar
Engage residents in group and individual activities
Help meet residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs
Encourage participation while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being
Collaborate with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team
