Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Director of Entertainment & Programming to lead the development and execution of engaging resident activities across the community.

You will coordinate with departments, manage a dynamic programming team, and build partnerships to enhance resident satisfaction and community involvement. The role requires creativity, strategic planning, and a passion for aging well.

Qualifications

• Experience planning/implementing activities and events for groups (residents).
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Experience supervising others preferred.
• Knowledge of aging and disability issues is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for community programming addressing physical, social, spiritual, emotional, cognitive and leisure needs.
• Determine resident programming preferences and adjust calendars based on participation.
• Stay current with aging trends to enhance programming.
• Develop signature programs and events to enhance living experience.
• Encourage resident engagement through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
