Maryville, a faith-based nonprofit care facility in Beaverton, Oregon, is seeking an Activities Aide to bring joy, connection, and creativity to residents. You will lead and assist activity programs, plan events, and help with set-up and clean-up, while working onsite and potentially on weekends.

This role supports skilled nursing, memory care and rehabilitation as part of a compassionate, person-centered team.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings is required.
• Experience with residents with physical or cognitive disabilities including dementia.
• Ability to work independently and with compassion.
• Strong rapport with residents and their families.
• Patience and reliability are essential.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of residents, staff and volunteers.
• Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Carry out activity programs as identified in the monthly calendar.
• Provide one-to-one activities for residents who cannot join group activities.
• Coordinate with the activity director and staff to move residents to/from activities.
• Decorate for holidays with residents and volunteers and support special events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
