The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill is hiring an Activities Assistant to support the recreation team. Full-time with weekly pay at $16 per hour. You will help plan and run events, crafts, performances, and activities for residents, creating engaging programs aligned with their interests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• We can train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate and run events and activities programming.
• Build relationships with residents and tailor programming to their interests.
• Organize group and individual programming.
• Generate ideas to excite residents and encourage participation.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities that stimulate them physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
• Assist with resident care goals within the therapeutic team framework.
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings.
• Report all reportable events immediately.
