Job summary

Brighton Post Acute is seeking an Assistant Activities Director to join our team in Boston, MA. This full-time role offers daily pay and pays $22–$28 per hour, with Russian speakers encouraged to apply.

The Assistant Activities Director will support planning and delivering enriching programs for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, maintain calendars, recruit volunteers, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while promoting resident engagement and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to motivate residents, staff, and volunteers while fostering a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading activities for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.
• Maintain a comprehensive calendar of activities, events, and programs.
• Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers to boost resident engagement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
• Tailor activities to resident interests and abilities while ensuring safety and compliance.
