Job summary

Vineyards-At-Fowler in Fowler, CA is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director by creating monthly calendars, coordinating resident activities, and assisting with in‑room programs.

You will interview residents for preferences, arrange transportation, document attendance, and help ensure the physical, social, and mental well‑being of residents, while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CNA license/certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Director in creating a monthly calendar of activities.
• Post the monthly calendar in a prominent location and in residents' rooms.
• Interview residents or family members to obtain activity preferences.
• Coordinate and assist residents in getting to activity locations.
• Assist in conducting scheduled activities to promote well-being.
• Document activity attendance and ensure accurate progress notes.
• Observe mood and involvement; report changes to the Activities Director.
• Involve residents and families in planning activities.
• Assist with in-room activities for one-on-one visits.
• Coordinate offsite field trips and transportation as needed.
• Coordinate needs with other departments to avoid interruptions.
• Assist with Resident/Family Council meetings as indicated.
