Job summary

Vineyards-At-Fowler seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 49-bed, family-owned facility in Fowler, California. ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE; competitive salary based on experience, with an experienced Administrator and Director of Nursing guiding care.

You will provide routine nursing care under supervision, follow established policies, and contribute to high-quality care in our small-town setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a CNA program or hold a CNA license.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled and accessible.
