Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System in Marlette, MI is seeking a Resident Activities Assistant to support residents by planning and delivering engaging activities for seniors in our SNF/LTCU unit.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, CPR/First Aid, and preferably CNA certification or prior dementia care experience. This on-site role offers casual hours and teamwork with activity coordinators to enhance resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR or First Aid certification required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Prior experience with senior adults with dementia/Alzheimer’s preferred.
• Prior experience in planning and implementing activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other activity coordinators to schedule, plan and produce events for residents.
• Create a diverse collection of activities that provide mental, physical, social and emotional stimulation.
