Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System in Marlette, MI is seeking a Resident Activities Assistant to support residents by planning and delivering engaging activities for seniors in our SNF/LTCU unit.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, CPR/First Aid, and preferably CNA certification or prior dementia care experience. This on-site role offers casual hours and teamwork with activity coordinators to enhance resident well-being.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Activities assistants collaborate with other activity coordinators to schedule, plan and produce events for the residents of the institution for which they work. Specifically, these professionals make decisions about which activities might be most valuable for their audience, then plan each part of the event. They're also responsible for creating a collection of activities that offer different types of stimulation, including those that offer opportunities for mental, physical, social and emotional growth and enjoyment.
