Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid CNA license/certification.

• Ability to work with residents, families and staff respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Director in creating a monthly activity calendar.
• Post calendars in large print in public areas and residents' rooms.
• Interview residents or family members to obtain activity preferences.
• Coordinate transportation and offsite field trips as needed.
• Conduct activities to promote physical, social, and mental well-being.
• Document attendance and resident responses in progress notes.
• Observe mood and participation and report changes to the Director.
• Involve residents and families in planning when possible.
• Assist with in-room activities for one-on-one visits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure uninterrupted activities.
