Bayberry Skilled Nursing and Healthcare Center, a Generations Healthcare facility, is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, coordinate and implement engaging, therapeutic activity programs to meet the residents’ needs.

The position is part-time with a Tue, Wed and Thu schedule. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, and experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred. The role requires passing a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Competenze

• BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
• Ability to demonstrate respect for and patience with retirement age residents, and desire to enhance residents’ lives.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher, in addition to computer charting and graphics knowledge.
• Focused attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple items/tasks, prioritize as required and adapt favorably to changing priorities.
• Effective ability to make appropriate judgments and decisions, in a timely manner and within the context of the situation at hand.
• Ability to effectively respond to emergency and/or crisis situations.
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal direction in English.
