Wynwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Department in running daily resident activities and to help plan a diverse calendar of events. You will ensure respectful, resident-centered care and assist in coordinating volunteers.

The role involves maintaining calendars, setting up activity spaces, and decorating for seasonal events, with opportunities to engage residents in meaningful activities and life-enriching programs.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred or college credits in related field.
• Experience in a Healthcare Facility is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides considerate respectful care focused on residents’ individual needs.
• Assists in planning and implementing a diverse calendar of activity events.
• Maintains calendars for daily, monthly activity programs and ensures timely updates.
• Sets up and cleans activity rooms and supply closets to promote safety and participation.
• Decorates areas to reflect seasons, holidays, and special events.
• Supports volunteers and coordinates recruitment for departmental activities.
