Signature HealthCARE's Rockcastle Health & Rehabilitation Center in Brodhead, KY invites you to join our Activities Department. You will plan and support holistic resident engagement, delivering social, emotional, and therapeutic activities, including in-room options for residents unable to attend daily events.

The role welcomes prior activities or healthcare experience, with CNA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities within and outside the facility.
• Provide in room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
