Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking an Activities Department team member to enhance resident engagement and well-being in our Johnson City, TN facility. You will assist with social, emotional, physical and therapeutic activities for residents, both in-house and in the community.

Prior Activities or Healthcare experience is preferred but not required, and CNAs are welcome if available. The role focuses on compassionate care and meeting state scheduling standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities both within and outside the facility.
• Provide in room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
