Job summary

Waters of Princeton is seeking an Activity Aide to support the Activity Director in implementing planned programs for residents. You will help transport residents, maintain records, and perform clerical tasks in line with federal/state regulations and company policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a personable approach to residents, with CNA as a preferred qualification but not required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with F-Endorsement.
• Must be able to drive the facility van.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Must present a positive image of the facility.
• Must meet health assessment requirements, including two stage Mantoux skin tests and one-step annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Aides assist the recreational activities leader or activities director, helping patients or participants use equipment and supplies.
• Prepares equipment and ensures the safety of patients or participants in the activity.
• Assist in leading the participants in group activities, such as an exercise class or art project.
• Proper record keeping of equipment and its use.
• Assist in planning programs for residents, which can help to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
