UC Santa Cruz seeks a Registrar Specialist 3 SV to manage residency determinations, registration processes, and veteran benefits administration within the Office of the Registrar. The role supports policy interpretation and accurate student record maintenance, contributing to tuition and fee analyses and compliance with state and federal regulations.

The position is a career appointment on the UCSC Main Campus, with full benefits and 100% time commitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of policies, regulations, and practices with student records services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to apply policy knowledge to diverse situations and ensure compliance.
• Experience with complex relational databases and campus systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage residency, registration, and veteran benefits administration processes.
• Develop procedures for collecting documentation and auditing records for accuracy.
• Support billing and fee assessment workflows within the registrar's office.
• Collaborate with Records and Compliance teams to ensure timely processing and reporting.
