Job summary

LSU Health New Orleans is seeking a Residency Program Administrator 1 to support the Surgery department’s residency, fellowship, training and clerkship programs, including travel logistics. The role requires ensuring compliance with ACGME and accreditation standards, and adherence to LSUHSC-NO policies, with high autonomy and professional judgment.

Under the Business Manager’s direction, you will handle administrative tasks, coordinate program activities, and contribute to a climate of equity

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional level work experience.
• Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support residency, fellowship, training and clerkship programs and their travel needs.
• Assist with management of training program compliance with ACGME, accreditation standards, LSUHSC-NO policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative support and exercise judgment and initiative in a highly responsible, independent manner.
