Job summary

LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans seeks a Residency Program Administrator I to support the Surgery residency, fellowship, training and clerkship programs, including travel coordination and compliance with ACGME standards and other accreditation requirements.

Under the direction of the Business Manager, the incumbent provides administrative support, exercises judgment and initiative, and communicates effectively within a team while upholding LSUHSC-NO policies and a commitment to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years of professional level work experience.
• A Master's degree can substitute 2 years of professional level work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Surgery residency, fellowship, training and clerkship programs, including travel needs and program coordination.
• Assist with management of training program compliance with ACGME, and accreditation standards; ensure adherence to LSUHSC-NO policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support with high initiative and strong communication within a team.
