Job summary

CommonSpirit Health, in partnership with CHI St. Vincent, offers a National Nurse Residency Program for newly licensed RNs. This 12-month, evidence-based experience helps you build confidence, develop core competencies, and feel prepared on day one.

As an RN Resident you will work within a supportive team, participate in clinical performance improvement, and advance patient-centered care while transitioning into professional practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license (AR) upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 9 months.

• Develop essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors as you transition into practice.
• Engage in clinical performance improvement and patient safety.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

In our National Nurse Residency Program, you will function as a direct clinical care RN Resident nurse, developing essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors as you transition into practice. You are expected to achieve appropriate competency across all core and functional areas. (February 2027 Cohort)

We are offering a sign on bonus up to $15,000 depending on hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, and relocation assistance.
