For over 60 years, The Guidance Center has been a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care to individuals and families in Cumberland County, NJ. As a non-profit organization, our dedicated team of professionals, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, works to diagnose and treat all types of mental illness.
As a Residence Specialist II, you will provide assessment, planning, linking, monitoring, and advocacy for clients assigned to supervised residences, many of whom are referred from State psychiatric hospitals. Your role is essential in ensuring clients receive the necessary support for independent living and mental well-being.
Responsibilities include developing individual service plans, coordinating services, communicating observations to the treatment team, documenting client progress, supporting recreational and social activities, developing social and daily living skills, providing transportation, promoting community service usage, and participating in team meetings.
