Job summary

Sacramento State seeks a Residence Hall Coordinator to lead and enrich the on-campus living experience. You will supervise staff, advise students, and coordinate residence life activities to promote student success.

Work is on-site with a 12-month live-in arrangement; candidates should be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Priority given to applicants meeting minimum qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in university student services or related field.
• Ability to interpret program rules and regulations and plan long-range improvements.
• Strong communication skills for diverse student populations.
• Ability to supervise and lead student staff and paraprofessionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for 1-2 residence halls and supervise 6-14 student staff.
• Advise Hall Council and perform academic advising.
• Respond to safety, crisis, and emergency situations on-site.
• Collaborate with department leads on conduct issues and program development.
• Maintain daily building administration and scheduling requirements.
