Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field.
• Experience leading US site management, monitoring, and start-up activities across complex programs.
• Deep expertise in US study start-up, site management, monitoring, feasibility, enrollment optimization, and clinical trial execution.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements, compliance expectations, and inspection readiness.
• Experience developing operating models, vendor oversight frameworks, metrics, dashboards, and risk-management approaches.
• Experience supporting regulatory authority inspections, sponsor audits, site audits, audit responses, and remediation activities.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate portfolio and enterprise priorities into US site-facing operational strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and strengthen US site management, monitoring, and start-up capabilities across programs.
• Develop and execute US site strategies for site activation, enrollment, retention, and performance.
• Establish scalable, fit-for-purpose monitoring models aligned to study needs and regulatory expectations.
• Provide strategic leadership for US site-facing activities and vendor governance.
• Collaborate with Global functions to ensure seamless program and trial execution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate site-level risks, escalating and solving issues promptly.
• Define processes, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor performance and data-driven decisions.
• Oversee vendor strategy, oversight, risk management, and governance for site activities.
• Provide operational input on feasibility, country/site strategy, enrollment planning, and budgeting.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and inspection readiness documentation.
• Support regulatory inspections and sponsor/audit readiness in partnership with Quality.
• Explore AI and digital solutions to transform site management and monitoring.
• Build and maintain external partnerships with sites, CROs, vendors, and research networks.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing US Site Management team, including CRAs and related staff.
• Travel as required, up to 50% domestically and internationally.
