Core-Mark International in Hayward, CA is hiring a Merchandiser to reset and stock store fixtures, shelves, and displays across assigned accounts. You will read planograms, place merchandise, and maintain clean, navigable aisles while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 1+ year in reset merchandising and planogram experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior merchandising experience preferred.
• 1+ year of reset merchandising in convenience or grocery stores.
• 1+ year of planogram experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and insurance.
• Must be able to frequently lift 5-25 lbs and up to 70 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Providing excellent customer service
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations.
• Read planogram examples as a guide.
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Maintain safe store aisles.
• Maintenance of assigned equipment
• Reporting hours and mileage accurately
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Details:

• Monday - Friday 40hrs per week
• UP to $25.00 per hour depending on experience
• Mileage & Cell phone reimbursement program

Position Purpose:

The Merchandiser is responsible for setting new stores or resetting existing customers’ stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Merchandising Supervisor overseeing the geographical area they service.

What is a store reset?

A store reset is the process of rearranging or replacing fixtures, shelves, stand-alone units, and merchandise. The goal is to make a retail business more navigable and to create a fresh, engaging shopping experience.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent experience
• 1 + year of reset merchandising experience in convenience or grocery stores
• 1 + years of planogram experience
• Experience with smart phones and APPs
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
• Must be able to frequently lift products weighing from 5-25 lbs. throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift a case of product or tote which could weigh up to 70 lbs.

Compensation

Up to $22.00 -25.00 per hour
