Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking a Merchandiser to reset stores and set up shelves for optimal shopping flow. The role involves visiting assigned stores Monday through Friday, stocking products, and following planograms to ensure consistent displays.

The candidate should have 1+ year of reset merchandising and planogram experience, with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Mileage and cell phone reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of reset merchandising experience in convenience or grocery stores.
• 1+ year of planogram experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and proper insurance.
• Must be able to lift 5–25 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, and cleaning at customer locations.
• Read planogram examples as a guide and arrange store shelves.
• Maintain safe store aisles and report hours and mileage accurately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Monday - Friday 40hrs per week
• UP to $25.00 per hour depending on experience
• Mileage & Cell phone reimbursement program

Position Purpose

The Merchandiser is responsible for setting new stores or resetting existing customers' stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Merchandising Supervisor overseeing the geographical area they service.

What is a store reset?

A store reset is the process of rearranging or replacing fixtures, shelves, stand‑alone units, and merchandise. The goal is to make a retail business more navigable and to create a fresh, engaging shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Providing excellent customer service
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations.
• Read planogram examples as a guide.
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Maintain safe store aisles.
• Maintenance of assigned equipment
• Reporting hours and mileage accurately
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent experience
• 1 + year of reset merchandising experience in convenience or grocery stores
• 1 + years of planogram experience
• Experience with smart phones and APPsMust have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
• Must be able to frequently lift products weighing from 5-25 lbs. throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift a case of product or tote which could weigh up to 70 lbs.

Preferred qualifications

• 2 + years of reset merchandising in convenience stores or grocery stores
• 2 + years of planogram experience
