Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking a Reservoir Engineer to support SEC reserves reporting and asset development across DEC's multi-basin portfolio. You will perform reservoir engineering analysis within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to acquisition and divestiture evaluations.

Responsibilities include decline curve analysis, economic evaluations, and preparing SEC-style reserve reports, with exposure to ARIES, Excel, SQL, Geographix, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering) required.
• 0-5 years of reservoir and/or operations engineering experience.
• Proficiency with ARIES, Excel, Access, SQL databases, and PowerPoint; Geographix and Power BI a plus.
• Independently comfortable working with others in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, writing, and organization skills required.
• Strong understanding of SEC reserves classification and evaluation; acquisition/divestiture experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform reservoir engineering analysis for corporate reserves reporting, acquisitions, divestitures, and asset development planning across DEC's multi-basin portfolio.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team and develop proficiency in decline curve analysis, petroleum economics, and SEC reserves classification.
• Prepare SEC style reserve reports with geology, accounting, and operations teams.
• Assist in acquisition evaluations for diverse plays (conventional horizons, unconventional shales, coal bed methane).
• Provide reservoir engineering support for various financial functions.
• Support field operations with production surveillance and data gathering.
• Assist land group in divestiture evaluations.
