Qualifications

  • Kansas Non-commercial Class B driver’s license.
  • NIMS 100/200/700/800 preferred, required within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in fire suppression and rescue operations.
  • Provide medical care and treatment as a firefighter/EMT.
  • Maintain equipment, apparatus, station, and grounds.
  • Engage in community risk reduction and public education.
  • Perform administrative tasks and report writing as needed.
  • May supervise others in the absence of a supervisor.
