Job summary

The Dunlin, Auberge Collection, is a coastal escape in South Carolina’s Sea Islands set within the exclusive waterfront community of Kiawah River. This 2,000-acre island resort offers 72 cottage-style guest rooms and suites, with two Auberge dining concepts and a destination spa.

A Reservations Agent role supports bespoke experiences, responsive guest service, and accurate billing. Remote work is limited to certain states.

Qualifications

• Two years in a hospitality, spa, or reservations position, preferably at a luxury resort.
• Ability to create professional business letter correspondence.
• Must possess gracious people and sales skills, excellent phone manner and ability to engage in a positive manner with each and every guest.
• Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guests’ inquiries regarding room reservations, availability, and general questions about accommodations, pricing, and special offers.
• Assist and ensure effective guest challenge resolution, coordinating with other departments to resolve challenges and exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure that all billing and financial transactions are accurately and efficiently executed on behalf of guests.
• Upsell services and offerings, educating guests about the resort’s offerings.

Job Description

Embark on a journey of refined hospitality as a Reservations Agent, where every interaction becomes an artful orchestration of bespoke experiences.

• Responding to guests’ inquiries regarding room reservations, availability, and general questions about accommodations, pricing, and special offers.
• Assisting and ensuring effective guest challenge resolution. Working closely with fellow guest service team members and other departments to resolve any challenges, ensure follow-through, and exceed guest expectations when possible.
• Ensuring that all billing and financial transactions are accurately and efficiently executed on behalf of guests.
• Upselling services and offerings as appropriate, ensuring that each guest is fully educated about the resort’s offerings.
