Job summary

Jekyll Island Club Resort is seeking a friendly Reservations Agent to manage guest inquiries and bookings on-site. You will know the hotel, amenities, and services to expertly assist guests planning their dream stay.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles preferred.

The JOB

As a Reservations Agent, your friendly, energetic and professional personality will be the voice of the pre-arrival experience. In this position, you know all the details of the entire hotel, amenities and services. You will assist our Guests with class and style as they plan and book their dream stay.

Requirements

• • At least one year of experience in hospitality, reservations, customer service, call center operations, or a related guest-facing role preferred.
• • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally engage with guests and colleagues.
• • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple reservations and guest inquiries.
• • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn property management and reservation software.
• • The ability to upsell accommodations, packages, and resort amenities while creating a personalized guest experience.
• • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
• • A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
