Job summary

Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Researcher-1 to execute and manage biomechanics/biomedical research projects in the PM&R laboratory. You will design and perform complex experiments, recruit and manage human subject studies, collect and analyze data, and help develop new methodologies under supervision.

The role requires a strong background in biomechanical/neuroscience health science research, proficiency with MATLAB and Excel, and the ability to train staff and coordinate lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; 3 years of relevant experience with Associate's degree, or 1 year with Bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree in a biological/health science with human subjects research experience preferred.
• Ability to translate, adapt and apply knowledge in biomechanics/neuroscience/health science research.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Excel; ability to work with biomechanical data.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage research projects in the PM&R lab.
• Design and perform complex laboratory experiments and testing.
• Recruit, enroll and intervene with human subjects; collect and analyze data.
• Train and supervise staff; coordinate equipment maintenance and safety.
• Assist PI with proposals, publications, and reports.
