Ohio State University is seeking a Researcher to join the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Administration in the College of Arts and Sciences. The role focuses on energy storage research, developing new NMR approaches, materials synthesis, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.

Job Title: Researcher Department: Arts and Sciences | Chemistry and Biochemistry Administration
Researcher to join a research team in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences performing research in energy storage research and duties include designing and developing new experimental NMR approaches and equipment, materials synthesis, analyzing research results, preparing manuscripts for publication, interfacing with external collaborators and manage collaborative projects. Other responsibilities include collaborating with PI and research group, assisting with proposals for external funding, and supervising and training undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral assistants.
Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent research experience required; 5 years of relevant research experience required with Bachelor's Degree, or 3 years of relevant research experience required with Master's Degree.
Desired: PhD degree in Chemistry or related area. Ability to design, trouble shoot and repair electrochemical and NMR equipment.

The pay range for this job profile is $75,700 - $98,900. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
