Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of relevant research experience.
• Experience with lab protocols and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and complex experiments.
• Monitor inventory and order lab supplies; carry out duties for ordering and maintaining supplies.
• Prepare media and maintain cells by culturing techniques.
• Participate in meetings with principal investigator and research staff; evaluate/interpret data as needed.
• Oversee daily lab operation in the absence of supervisor/PI.
• Assist in development and implementation of research protocols.
• Record and compile accurate records; communicate summaries of results.
• Help evaluate and interpret data and QC of assays.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain specialized equipment used in research.
• Other duties as assigned.
