Join us now as a RESEARCH TECHNICIAN, performing complex and novel procedures as a laboratory professional with significant independence under the supervision of a Principal Investigator (PI). Responsibilities include developing and applying scientific methods for experiments, guiding laboratory personnel, and maintaining expertise on equipment and procedures.

This position is vital to the success of St. Josephs Hospital Medical Center and requires active participation in fulfilling Dignity Health's Mission.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Two (2) years of experience in a research, clinical, or scientific environment
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques
• Understanding of the scientific method
• Basic computer skills

Preferred:

• Four (4) years of experience in a research or scientific environment
• MS Degree
• Ability to improve performance continually
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques and computer skills
