The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Research Technologist to assist scientists with proteomic and metabolite preparation, analysis, and routine lab maintenance. Meticulous record keeping and collaboration within the Protein Sciences team are essential.
Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, may be required. You will learn new techniques through training by senior personnel and contribute to accurate data reporting and project support.
The Research Technologist works under general supervision, the incumbent undertakes responsibilities in assisting scientists on the team in performing a combination of proteomic sample preparation and analysis, metabolite preparation and analysis, and routine laboratory maintenance responsibilities.
Meticulous attention to detail and accurate record keeping are required.
Incumbents are required to work flexible shifts that may occasionally include evenings and/or weekends depending on the demands of the research and/or laboratory operations
Pay Range: $18.59 - $29.51 per hour, based on experience.
