Job summary

The Sauka-Spengler lab at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research is seeking a Research Technician to participate in molecular embryology and single-cell genomics projects across several model organisms. You will contribute to epigenomic and transcriptional assays and collaborate with lab members to advance understanding of gene regulatory circuitry during development.

Responsibilities include assisting experiments, recording data, maintaining equipment, and staying current with literature.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree in an appropriate scientific field (molecular biology, biochemistry, etc).
• General laboratory experience in molecular biology.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
• Motivation and ability to learn new techniques and perform tasks independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
