The Multicultural Alzheimer’s Prevention Program (MAPP) in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is an initiative to advance our understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and prevent cognitive decline in diverse populations.

Working under the general guidance of the Program Director (Dr. Yakeel T. Quiroz), the Research Technician will be responsible for carrying out daily activities to support the prevention research program. This includes community outreach, participant recruitment and cognitive testing, as well as contributing to data entry, analysis and manuscript preparation.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, psychology, neuroscience, or related fields required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in clinical research or brain imaging research.
  • Bilingual skills in English/Spanish/Portuguese are required.
  • Must be able to work productively under minimal supervision.
  • Careful attention to detail and strong organization skills required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with data management softwear (REDCap) is required.
