Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is seeking an entry-level Research Technician in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. Under supervision, you will support mouse-model experiments, assist with breeding, genotyping, sample collection, and record-keeping while following animal-use protocols and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes collaboration, training, and adherence to regulatory requirements; the lab aims to advance health research and education in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or training.
• No research experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, maintaining laboratory and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with researchers to set up experiments and perform research projects.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks, databases and electronic records with detailed procedures and results.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
