The Research Program on Cognition and Neuromodulation-based Interventions is looking for a full-time Research Technician Intermediate. The programs mission is to provide non-pharmacological treatments for persons with neurologic injury and disease. We focus on methods to assist older adults with a variety of cognitive impairments using neuropsycholgical theory, modern neuroimaging methods and a range of non-pharmacololgical treatments. The successful candidate will perform a range of tasks to support two research projects, primarily administration and scoring of standardized neuropsycholgical tests to research participants and memory rehabilitation. The schedule for this position is Monday -Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 AM with occasional evenings as needed.
This position is located at one of Michigan Medicine's offsite campus locations in Ann Arbor, MI.
This position is a term-limited appointment through 8/8/2027 with the possibility of extension depending on funding. At the end of the stated term, your appointment will terminate and will not be eligible for Reduction-in-Force (RIF) benefits. This term-limited appointment does not create a contract or guarantee employment for any period of time as you will remain subject to disciplinary or other performance measures, up to and including termination, at the will of the University in accordance with existing University policy and standards for employee performance and conduct.
