Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform survival surgical procedures on mice, including implantation and euthanasia.
• Record study data in the laboratory information management system.
• Read, understand and adhere to study protocols.
• Perform general study preparation and lab organization.
• Work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Meet productivity expectations: 150 unilateral NUDE PS/day; 60 bilateral NOG stock/day; 60 bilateral NOG cryo stock/day.

Job description

Duties, Responsibilities, And Productivity Expectations

• Perform survival surgical procedures on mice, including handling, restrain, anesthesia, surgical heterotopic and orthotopic tumor fragment and tumor cell implantations, euthanasia, tissue collection and tissue cryopreservation
• Record study data within the laboratory information management system
• Read, understand and adhere to study protocols
• Perform general study preparation and organizational activities, including sample tube labeling, supply organization and stocking, and laboratory organization
• Work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
• Productivity Expectations: 150 unilateral NUDE PS/day, 60 bilateral NOG warm stock/day; 60 bilateral NOG cryo stock/day. To be attained within 3 months of training completion
