Tulane University's Department of Environmental Health Sciences invites applications for a Research Technician III to work on an ONR-funded project focused on environmental risk factors affecting marine mammal health. You will help develop environmental sampling and sequencing protocols for bacterial and fungal pathogens, including antimicrobial-resistant strains, using a portable long-read sequencing method.

The position involves day-to-day lab operations and an independent research project.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Statistical analysis and R software experience preferred.
• Proficient lab experience in environmental microbiology and biotechnology preferred.
