Job summary

Tulane National Biomedical Research Center seeks a Medical Research Technician for the Molecular Virology Sequencing Core, Serology Unit. You will perform diagnostic assays in BSL-2 facilities according to SOPs, maintain equipment, and support team efforts in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a BS degree and 0–2 years of lab experience, with preferred experience in serology or molecular assays and familiarity with common lab software such as Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree (BS) in a relevant field.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience required.
• Preferred: two years in serological and/or molecular assays.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assays in BSL-2 labs according to SOPs.
• Maintain equipment and general lab spaces.
• Work independently with minimal supervision when possible.
