Job summary

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with five years of related experience, or a Master’s with equivalent experience, and must be able to obtain US citizenship and SECRET clearance per federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus five years’ related research experience, or master’s degree with equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently calibrate and troubleshoot advanced instrumentation.
• Knowledgeable in biosafety regulations and compliance.
• Prior experience in a military medical laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory-based research applying scientific knowledge to trauma, hemorrhage and resuscitation, immunomodulation, and craniofacial health research.
• Follow SOPs to conduct cellular assays and manage cell/tissue culture lines.
• Compile and analyze data; identify discrepancies and suggest protocol adjustments.
• Develop and validate new experimental methods and design experimental setups.
