Qualifications

• Education requirements as listed: Bachelor's Degree or two years of college with emphasis in field, or high school diploma/GED equivalent.
• Experience requirements: no experience with Bachelor's degree or 2 years of lab experience at the level of Laboratory Technical Assistant, or 4 years of lab experience including two years at the level of Laboratory Technical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine scientific and medical research work in related field.
• Assembles and/or operates laboratory equipment and apparatus.
• Records research data and discusses results with supervisor.
• Assists in collection of data for project reports.
• Reads literature and consults with supervisor on new procedures.
• May supervise lower-grade laboratory personnel on parts of a project.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
