This position involves providing responsible assistance in establishing and propagating organoid cultures as part of the Baylor College of Medicine 3D Organoid Core. It is suitable for candidates capable of managing multiple projects and following instructions to complete assignments with minimal supervision. A responsible, skilled, and dedicated technician is required. This role offers a unique and rewarding translational research experience in a dynamic and highly productive environment.

Job Duties
  • Generate and propagate 3D organoid cultures.
  • Perform routine research assays such as flow cytometry and qRT-PCR to validate cultures.
  • Document results accurately.
  • Contribute to core maintenance, including ordering supplies, general cleanup, freezer cataloging, and maintaining lab equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Basic Science or a related field; four years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
  • No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an academic research lab is desirable.
