Georgetown University is seeking a Research Technician I to perform basic molecular biology research in a laboratory setting, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. The role involves maintaining mammalian cell lines, performing electrophoresis, protein extraction, Q-RT-PCR, and various assays as part of a pediatric cancer research team.

You will work closely with senior staff, participate in routine lab maintenance, and contribute to data collection and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• 1–2 years of academic lab experience preferred.
• Experience with basic molecular biology and mammalian cell culture preferred.
