The position involves routine lab work, data recording, and collaboration with supervisors to refine procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: completion of two years of college or specialized training in histology, medical technology or relevant field.
• Experience: 1 year as Laboratory Technical Assistant or 3 years with HS diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists in conducting experiments and working on research problems in physiology, bacteriology, tissue culture, chemistry and related fields.
• Assembles and operates laboratory equipment and apparatus.
• Records data in accordance with established methods and discusses results with supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
