Job summary

The Finn Lab at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is seeking a part-time Research Technician to support studies on how genome organization and histone modification regulate genes in cancer cells, using techniques like imaging and molecular assays.

You will work with a graduate mentor, perform experiments after training, and help with regular lab maintenance while presenting results to the team to help plan future experiments.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work with a graduate student mentor on a project focusing on genome organization and gene regulation in cancer cells.
• Carry out experiments independently after training and assist with regular lab maintenance tasks.
• Present your work one-on-one and in small group sessions to the lab; help identify and plan future experiments.
