Job summary

UW School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Research Technician to support the Denu Lab at UW Carbone Cancer Center. The role involves handling patient-derived cell line work, epigenetic techniques, and basic molecular biology tasks in a collaborative research setting.

Responsibilities include data collection, running standard assays, literature review support, and preparing results for presentations.

Qualifications

• Previously worked in a biological sciences research lab.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Collects data and monitors test results according to established research requirements and specifications.
• Performs lab and/or field test materials and samples according to established research requirements and specifications. Performs lab or field tests
• May assist with literature reviews and/or report writing
• Reviews data to summarize results for presentations or reporting
• Inspects and maintains equipment, supplies, inventory, and facility spaces
